• Alright, so I am more of a designer, and have created a very pretty graphical layout for a band’s website. I created the layout in Photoshop CS5, sliced it up, and exported the slices as CSS ID’s. Well, while I LOVE the site’s LOOK, the functionality is weeeeaaakk. Getting into word press, it’s a no brainer that I need to utilize the SEO, the social media functionality, and general cleanliness of WordPress, however, I want to build a theme around this design I worked very hard on. I googled a few tutorials on making custom themes but I guess my question is this, can I use this great general site graphic and build word press around it?

Again I want to export a sliced up (EXPORT SLICES via CSS ID) image in photoshop (my weblayout) and create a wordpress theme around the graphic.

Thanks to anyone willing to shed light on this and help me bring my word press experience to the next level.
