Custom Theme – Stylesheet Does Not Load on Local Host

  • Hi Guys,

    I have downloaded a clients custom theme from a their server for a few tweaks, when I go to install this theme in my local environment. The stylesheet doesn’t seem to load, I set up the theme up identical to how it is on the live server (i.e Static Front Page, Widgets).

    header.php
    <link href="/wp-content/themes/customtheme/style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

    I’m not sure what other information I can give, I haven’t experienced this issue before with any WP Theme.
