Custom title and meta description on category page

Go to WP admin Dashboard -> SEO -> Titles & Metas -> tab Taxonomies

You should select “Show” for Yoast SEO Meta Box (for Categories). There are title template which you can modify.

If you want unique titles for each category term:

WP Dashboard -> Posts -> Categories -> Select item and click edit

Bellow name, slug, description, you will see Yoast SEO Meta Box, where you can edit SEO title, description, … same way as for posts.

Thanks for replying. I have done as you explained. But in WP Dashboard -> Posts -> Categories. I don’t find section to edit title and description in Yoast. Image attached.

Can you please suggest.

I don’t see image.

Anyway, try to enable advanced settings https://kb.yoast.com/kb/remove-advanced-yoast-seo-settings/
Then go to SEO -> Titles & Metas -> tab Taxonomies and select Show metabox for categories.
Please send more details if it doesn’t work.

If you see metabox, but you can’t click there, please check javascript errors.
