Custom Titles on calendar?

  • Hello, Is there any way to give each calendar title (the one the appears on the actual calendar that is surrounded by a color box) it’s own custom title instead of the default name of whatever page/post it is? I am using pages and wanted a custom name for each calendar title instead of the page name. Any idea on how could I do this? thanks – Ben

  • There is no easy way to do this at this moment, without a lot of code changes… but I will add this to our list of possible features to consider adding.

    Thanks Lew – OK, I was going to create the actual pages the names that I wanted to appear on the calendars, then figure out a way to hid those names in the navigation menu & and ultimately create some sort of permalink to each page’s calendar, sorry thinking out loud here…

    That might be easier… you could use custom post meta for that.
