Custom type, image fields and form

Hello,
i’m new to the wordpress world, coming from another cms world.
I have some requirements and would like some guidance please.
I need to know if – What I want to achieve is possible and – Good plugins for the job.

Here are my requirements:

1) Create a custom content type

Because I need it to be filled from web site visitors on the front end and don’t want user to access the WP regular editor, I need to enforce strict form fields for this content type:

2) With several images fields
3) That can be filled from a form on the frontend

Please let me know if this is possible and what are the recommended plugins to achieve this.
