Custom UI for Adding Posts

  • I’d like to add a UI for adding new posts (custom post type) that matches the look and feel of the current theme.

    Without editing core files, what options are there? Any bump in the right direction would be helpful, thanks!

    If you created your own form, or customized and renamed the core forms, you could alter most links and menus to link to your form instead of the core version via a plugin. There’s a few places where altering the link without a core hack would be difficult or impossible, such as the Add New button at the top of the post listing admin panel.
