Custom url no longer working

Recently updated both wordpress and WP touch to current versions and now my custom url won’t load? I had previously had a great workaround using the search submit page which ran the slider. Now that frustratingly no longer works.

So I’ve just tried using a featured tag url which seems to only load every second time.

I’ve cleared the W3 page and minify caches numerous times and updated user reject agents. I’m thoroughly confused. Please help! Really wish I hadn’t updated either option.
