    Hi,

My custom URLs in FooGallery don’t seem to work. I’ve set the “thumbnail link” on “custom URL” and added the custom URL (full, with the https protocol etc) in the “i” icon of the image, but whenever I check if it works, it doesn’t and it just opens on a black screen with an image icon. I am sorry if this is a silly question, but am I doing something wrong?

    Thank you in advance!

    Kind regards

    Hi @lounabtb

Could you kindly share a page containing a gallery where the custom URL has been set up but doesn’t seem to work? Additionally, I’d like to kindly ask you to enable FooGallery Debug Comments for us so that we can be able to effectively assist you with this.

To do so, kindly navigate to FooGallery -> Settings -> Advanced and click on the “Enable Debug” checkbox option as shown in the image linked here: https://prnt.sc/26jlt5a

Don’t forget to save the changes. This will help us investigate this issue further. Thanks.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis

    Hi @elviiso

I finally found a solution in a recent topic (went to?the edit section of my gallery and then navigated to Lightbox -> General and set it to “FooBox”), and now it works.

Thank you very much for your time!

    Best regards,

    Louna

Hi, Louna — thank you, thank you, for the tip to set the Lightbox to FooBox. I was going a little crazy trying to fix this, and that did indeed do the trick!

    All the best,

    Jamie

I was in a stomach ache with intense anger, but this post has saved my life.
    Thank you.

    Why does FooGalleryLightBox disable CustomURL?
It seems to me that this is just a trap to confuse users.

Also seems to work as expected if you set the lightbox to none….
