Custom URL Shortener Not Displaying (Codehaveli Bitly URL Shortener Plugin)

    Hi ????,

    Today I updated the WP To Twitter Plugin. Part of the update includes now utilizing the Codehaveli Bitly URL plugin for url shortening. The Codehaveli plugin specifies support for custom URLs.

    I am not sure why but the plugin is not sending my site’s custom URL shortener to Twitter. It is only sending the regular basic “bit.ly” url shortener to twitter.

    I have searching online and in support forums for what the issue may be. Unfortunately I haven’t found anything yet so I though I would give the forums a try.

    If anyone has experience with this issue it would be greatly appreciated if you can share.

    Potential issues:
    1. Updated WP to Twitter plugin and Codehaveli Bitly URL plugin require something more than new OAuth from Bit.ly (I established a new token and provided Codehavli with access)

    Hi @gfa202 Bitly URL Shortener plugin only use you account information to generate url in url account. What do you mean by not sending my site’s custom URL shortener to Twitter.

    Are you able to see the urls in your bitly account? and your custom url is a valid domain?
