    bump on this one.

Have purposely been holding off on updating because every time I do I have to do massive reworking to the archive and single view files because you change them so often and it’s quite annoying.

Accidentally updated the plugin and now even though I’m changing and uploading new versions of archive and single into the view folder, nothing is changing. Looks like the archive page is pulling from my default blog archive template which is no good. This is a heavily used feature on our church’s website. Need this bug fixed ASAP!

    Hi,

@pogostyle could you please explain the issue with more details?

@mmnewcomb We are assuming that you are editing the files that are in /wp-content/plugins/sermon-manager-for-wordpress/views – that is not right. Those files will be overwritten each time we update the plugin.

If you want to edit those files, you need to copy them first to /wp-content/themes/<your theme>, and then edit them – in your theme directory.

Also, you will need to tick the checkbox named “Enable Template Files” in Sermon Manager Settings. (when 2.12.0 is released, this step will not be needed)
