    hey guys.

I have searched and not come across a solution. There is this: https://docs.elementor.com/article/184-cant-edit-with-elementor which touches on the issue I am having BUT not an explanation.

SO what i have is a brand new wordpress install. I am using a custom wordpress folder.
Wordpress is installed in a sub folder /wordpress/

Basically it all works UNTIL i try and use elementor on a page. It just wont load.

Following these official instructions: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/giving-wordpress-its-own-directory/ using either option 1 OR 2 it doesn’t work with elementor.

FY I am using option 2 so I set as follows:
    WordPress Address (URL): example.com/wordpress/
    Site URL: example.com

It breaks elementor in pages/posts and wont load

YES, changing those to be the same URL’s fixes it BUT will also replace ALL URL’s on the frontend to include /wordpress/

I want to install wordpress in its own sub directory and use root for main site as per official docs.

Why is elementor not compatible with these official instructions???

Extremely surprised why no one has picked up on this..
