    Hello @alsakb,

If I understand you correctly, you added a period where the data will be deleted for completed orders.

If this was the case for failed or cancelled orders then you might be able to find them in WooCommerce > Orders > Trashed.

However, for “Retain completed orders” I’m afraid there isn’t an option to restore them.

Have you checked with your host if they kept backups for your site? Some hosts do daily or weekly backups automatically.

Let us know how it goes.

    Hi,

I have an old backup database is it possible to replace it with new database? so only missing orders information will update others are works as it is.

i tried too many times thewp_postmeta table but it’s not replacing. table size is 38MB.

i’m getting the error –> duplicate entry ‘2’ for key ‘primary’

so, i have a new database and an old database also please help me to replace deleted orders.

    it’s very important for me.

    thanks

    Hello,

There is not an easy solution for this scenario. I’ve read you have an old backup. You can try to recover from that backup, then import-export users using a plugin. This is out of our support policy in our forum, however, you can request further assistance to your web host or to a vetted expert at:

    I hope this helps.

    Hi,

So I have to import users only, am I right?

    wp_postmeta table not need?

please let me know, so I can import and export tables.

    thanks

    Hi @alsakb

I am afraid the user data is not saved only in a single database table. It syncs with multiple database tables.

You mentioned an old database, and you can try to make that version of the site live and export-import users using a plugin to see if those can be imported. Again, just an idea because this will be messy.

If it doesn’t work, please note that this requires some custom coding – which goes beyond the support we can provide in this forum.

I can also recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.

You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers also hang out there.

    Thanks!
