• I’m using WooCommerce with WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin. Checkout page uses WooCommerce checkout blocks. We deliver fresh food in boxes (weekly subscription) so I need customer to be able to add a “safe place” (short text field at checkout) to drop their box if they are not in. Obviously they also need to be able to edit this from My Account > Addresses > Shipping address.

99% of all subscription websites in 2025 do this so I’m sure there’s a way of easily doing this but I can’t seem to find it – 3 hours down. If not, is there a plugin that does it?

    Hi @charlie8484,

Thank you for reaching out. You can look into the Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerce plugin, which allows you to add custom fields to the checkout page, such as a “safe place” field. While this plugin simplifies the process of adding fields to the checkout, you may still need custom code to display the data in the “My Account” section.

However, please note that our support for custom code is limited, and for any specific customization, we recommend consulting a developer. Based on the feedback we receive from our customers, we highly recommend contacting one of the services listed on our Customization page for further assistance.

    Thank you.
