I have done hours of research this morning in the web and in forums trying to find an answer to my question, but I am having no luck.

I am setting up a WooCommerce store, and I have several Local Pickup Options: pickup at a store location, pickup at a party, and pickup from a location we will bulk ship to.

I would like to be able to automate an e-mail to the customer. For instance, if they select the party pickup, an email would come to them which gives the location, time, and date of the party so that they have it on hand in an email. It would be even better if I could send this same email again a few days before the party as a reminder.

I have looked at a wide range of plugins, some of which are outside of my budget, and none of which seem to have this capability spelled out in the description that would make me want to shell out money for a plugin that may not be what I need.

Does anybody have any insight as to how to approach this?

I did look at MailChimp integration, but my reading there says that MailChimp is opt-in for marketing, and I want this to be part of the customer service response that they should not have to choose to opt in for.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
