Can someone explain whether it is possible to create a subscription without creating a subscription product?

Explanation: I have Woocommerce Subscription extension on my website. I would like to create a custom subscription that is not found as a product on my page. Instead, I am creating an invoice for it using the “Add Fee” function.

What I tried: I created a manual parent order and sent an invoice my customer. When my customer tries to click on the link to pay for the order in the email, the link takes them to cart with a notice stating “Checkout is not available whilst your cart is empty.”

Even I sent the link generated on the Order Details page (the one that says “Customer Payment Page”), the link still takes me to the cart page and shows the same message again.

However, I am able to get the link to properly work it is a regular order that is not attached to any subscription order.

    Hope that is clear enough.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I am not sure I quite understand what you are referring to here. Can you please share with us a clear screenshot of the manual order you created here so that we could address you more effectively?

If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, you can try https://snipboard.io or https://skitch.com/. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.
