Customer Not Receiving Gift Card Email

Hi,
We’re using the ‘Gift Cards Pro for WooCommerce’ plugin, however have encountered some issues of late.
A customer a Monday 14th Aug placed an order for a gift card. in which money was taken, a code generated, but no email received.
What’s strange about this order is that we did receive the ‘new order’ email, but did with every other order from that day.
I have today tested the gift card functionality, and am seeing the same results.
Money is being taken, a gift card code generated, but no email is being received that features a gift card code.
NOTE: on the last two gift card orders, the ‘order notes’ section within the orders have shown the following message ‘Error during status transition. A valid currency is required.’
Any idea where to start with this? We haven’t had any issues like this in the past and have been receiving gift card orders for some years now.
