Hello, my apologies for the late reply. The installation instructions and the FAQ point out Dropbox enforces usage restrictions on public links. This is probably the case with your products as well, the product has been downloaded so many times Dropbox things it’s abuse and restricts any more downloads (source: https://help.dropbox.com/files-folders/share/banned-links).

What you can do in Dropbox is reupload your files under a different name and configure your products in WooCommerce to point to the new files. Keep in mind though, if the files are downloaded again too many times they as well will be restricted.

Hope to have helped you with this.

Hey. Thank you for your reply sir but it’s happening with all the files even new files which added just before a week and never download.

@vadiemjanssens strange thing is the same link my website sends to customer gives them corrupt download but when i click on that link its working file.

That is indeed strange, and would suggest they way your server is configured blocks the download in some kind of way. Did it work before, or hasnt’ it worked anytime?

yes it was working perfectly fine before. now also if i choose that link to download file it works well. but when my customers downloads from the same link it says corrupt file.

What version of WordPress, WooCommerce and all other relevant plugins running on? Are they all up to date?

The woocommerce-dropbox plugin is not very complicated, it simply fetches the public Dropbox URL and pastes it in WooCommerce ‘download url’ input field. From there, it’s just between WooCommerce and Dropbox on handling the download itself.

So, I still think something is misconfigured on your server or relevant packages/plugins/wp is not up to date OR Dropbox could have blocked your server from downloading files (which would be the first occurence I’ve ever encountered).

all are latest verstions sir. wordpress woocommerce and all plugins is latest. and i have dropbox professional which i pay them for every month i dont think they have blocked anything. or else i would have received an email from them.

Ok, good to hear. The final thing I can think of is to test any of the available download methods and see if it works: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/digital-downloadable-product-handling/. Let me know if this solves the issue.
