    Hi,

I tried turnstile first, but nobody was able to make a payment. I tried both invisible turnstile and later the managed turnstile, but still people couldn’t get a payment through. So I moved back the reCaptcha for WooCommerce, and now I receive payments again (PayPal & Stripe), but it doesn’t work for everybody.

This is what a customer wrote:
“I tried Apple Pay, PayPal and Stripe and all three dont work. I do the captcha for security and it passes payment processor goes thru but then your site hits me with following screenshot error”
    And this screenshot:

This is a returning, logged-in customer.

I have the latest version, 1.2.8 and these are the settings:

Not sure what’s happening. Please advice!

  • Thanks for the message.

Hmm, strange that this is happening whether you are using Turnstile, or reCAPTCHA.

I will take a look into this.

Are you using the official WooCommerce PayPal and Stripe payment methods, or a 3rd party plugin?

Yes, I’m using official Woocommerce payment options: PayPal checkout and Stripe:

    Hi,

Not too sure why you are experiencing this issue, sadly.

I’d recommend disabling it on your checkout, for now, to stop this happening of-course.

I’ll look into this and see if it can be fixed!

Yes, I have disabled it in the checkout and luckily I haven’t had any more ‘card testing attacks’ so far.
Please let me know if you need more information.
    Thanks.

    Hi,

Please could you update to version 1.2.9 and give this another try?

    Hi Elliot,
Thanks! I did the update and activated it on the checkout page. I’ll let you know if it works now. I’m glad you did the update, because I had another attack last week.

    Hi Elliot,

version 1.2.9 is working fine, thanks, and I haven’t had any complaints except yesterday: somebody is trying to pay with Apple Pay (through Stripe gateway) from a iPhone but can’t get past the reCaptcha. Do you know what could be the problem? I appreciate all the effort you’re putting into this. I am very happy with your plugin!

    Roy
