Thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear you’re unhappy with the plugin as it works currently.
In relation to your customers viewing their Analytics data, what you’re encountering is expected. For authentication and verification purposes only users who have been granted access at Analytics level will be able to view Google Analytics data within the Site Kit dashboards, for the connected property.
We are working on a dashboard sharing feature, which is currently being tested and expected to be released soon. This will allow administrators to share a view only dashboard to non WordPress administrators, who don’t need to verify permissions with their own Google account.
I am sorry for giving such a bad rating but this is such a simple and basic feature and to be honest I really expect more of the Google team.
I understand, this was a common request. Google account data typically requires authentication and verification, in order for users to access such information. For that reason there was a lot to consider when it comes to sharing a read only view, which can be configured by administrators.
If you like I can keep you updated once the release is out which has this new feature in place? Please let me know if so and I’ll keep a note on this.
Separate to dashboard sharing you may also wish to subscribe to a separate issue in relation to printing a PDF or email sharing of the contents of a users Site Kit dashboard.
