    Hi,

i have the issue with the check out when making the order. When making the order during check out my customers see the products and the information of the last customer, who made the order before. It happens already a few months and the problem disappears just when i make the update of any of the plugin (it doesn’t matter which one, just after updating any of it, the check out products and client’s info is displayed normally). But after some time the problems appears again – there are products added by new customer and when going to the check-out you can see the products and the name/address of another customer (the order and the information of the last customer’s order, i’ve got). There is no log errors, i have checked the conflicts as well, but there is no any conflict with any of exact plugin. What can cause the problem and why it appears from nowhere and disappears after updating any of plugins?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @kristinatastyfun,

I understand you’re having an issue with the checkout process. This is indeed a serious concern as it affects the privacy of your customers.

Based on your description, it sounds like there could be a caching issue. Caching is a process that stores data for faster future reference. In your case, it seems the cache is not cleared properly after each transaction, leading to the next customer seeing the previous customer’s information.

Typically, WooCommerce and WordPress do not cache checkout and cart pages by default. However, some hosting providers or certain plugins may override these settings. If you are using a caching plugin, please ensure that you have excluded WooCommerce’s specific pages (Cart, Checkout, My Account) from being cached. You can find more details from this guide.

If you’re not using a caching plugin, or if you’ve already excluded these pages and the issue persists, it might be due to your hosting provider’s settings. In this case, I would recommend reaching out to them and asking if they could exclude these pages from their caching system.

The problem seems to disappear after updating any plugin because updating a plugin usually clears the cache, which temporarily solves the issue until the cache builds up again.

    I hope this helps!
