Customers data not showing in dashboard

    I have just recently migrated over from Shopify and managed to successfully import all customers, orders and products.

    The customers were imported as wordpress users and are displaying fine. Orders and products are also showing fine

    However, I realised that the ‘customers’ tab in Woocommerce is only showing data of orders made on the WP platform and not the imported Shopify orders.

    I am trying to figure out how to display each customer’s data under the ‘customers’ tab but can’t figure out how to do so. I have tried disabling all plugins to see if that is the cause. Also have tried updating the database using the tools function in Woocommerce

    Hi @jj55!

    How exactly did you go about the migration from Shopify? It sounds like you may have missed a step in the migration process?

    Additionally, you can head over to your dashboard, and under “Analytics > Settings” page, import all historical data, to see if that produces something.

    if I may add a short question as it’s closely related. Where is the data from the customers tab located in the database? I have made test purchases on my site and I want to remove the entries. I cannot seem to find them in any table in phpmyadmin. Thanks!

    It is all stored in the wp_users en wp_usermeta tables .

    thanks for your reply! Sorry, I should have been more precise. I used the guest checkout function without creating an account so there are no entries in the wp_users or wp_usermeta tables. I also already deleted all orders but the customers are still showing up somehow.

    I used wp-all import plugin to import everything.

    @rynald0s Your suggestions did do something! It populated the table with data, but it seems like many of the customers who are linked to orders are not displayed. All customer’s emails display fine, but most of them don’t have their names listed and for some reason display a same sign up date: “04/30/2020”

    While in the orders tab each order is linked to a WP-user. Any ideas how everything is related?

It may have something to do with the file you used to import or perhaps how the fields were mapped.
