I am receiving customer feedback that they did not receive any order confirmation, either on the website itself or in an email after submitting payment via STRIPE. Everything is updated to the latest versions.

It’s becoming a problem because customers are submitting duplicate and triplicate payments and I am having to refund them and cancel the extra orders. I haven’t found a solution yet, I’ve even contacted Stripe and they redirected me back to Mike Jolley and team. Help!

I found this to be interesting:

WooCommerce Stripe Gateway by WooCommerce – 3.2.3 – Not tested with the active version of WooCommerce

    (@rocketrobin)

3.2.3 is labeled as the “Development Version” on the plugin homepage (this page), but then it states that all previous version may be unstable (as I was considering rolling back to 3.2.2)

Question: is the 3.2.3 version still in development? Or is it stable?

    Correspondence with Stripe.com today:

Thanks. Checking your logs now. Likely the plugin is sending multiple payment requests. You know this because there are four unique charge IDs. Hopefully uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin will help. If this does not help, then you will need to speak with the plugin’s author to find out why they are sending multiple payment requests. Checking your logs now.

    More from Stripe.com:

Thanks for waiting. I am seeing that these multiple payment requests are happening with in seconds of each other. There is definitely something wrong with the plugin.

    Hi again,

WooCommerce Stripe Gateway by WooCommerce – 3.2.3 – Not tested with the active version of WooCommerce

That’s to do with Version Checking we’ve added in WooCommerce 3.2. It doesn’t mean that it doesn’t work, just that specific code hasn’t been added to state that it’s compatible – I can confirm it’s working on my end.

As for the multiple payment requests, this is something I’m unsure of. If you could create a support ticket on WooCommerce.com and supply the information such as logs and what you’ve done to date, then our support staff can look into your issue a little closer and check on your site specifically to see if it’s something isolated to your install or if it’s something we can replicate.

any updates on this? We have a client that seems to be experiencing similar issues

I am still experiencing the same issue. I will open a ticket. I have uninstalled, and deleted the stripe plugin, and then reinstalled and re-activated the plugin and still the problem persists. My host and site are pretty fast, and the problem is simply that the customer does not receive any acknowledgement that the order went through, and so clicks multiple times, and then calls me. Times 20. I am so frustrated I have looked at paying for a better stripe plugin, but they all seem to do the same thing more or less, calling the stripe API, so I may experience no difference. Is it my theme? Flatsome is a very popular theme that should present no conflict.

I am totally stumped. Is there no one else out there with the same problem? (besides you, ebotstims)

I’ve been experiencing the identical issue on our website and it has been causing havoc with our customers. I’ve yet to find a solution. This plugin is definitely the issue or something to do with the Stripe API. However neither sides will validate the issue or exists…

@rocketrobin have you managed to find a solution at all?

    Hi @swaldie123 @rocketrobin @ebotstims

Coming back round to this – are you still experiencing problem? If you are, please reach out via WooCommerce.com, and one of the team can look into this – I’m going to mark this thread as resolved.
