customers receiving wrong email address on their receipts

I used to have an account with wordpress/woocommerce – teeshirtsandhoodies.eu
I closed this account and hosting has ended.I opened a new account yourdesignbytonywebb.co.uk and set up customer order receipts etc for sending to customers.
I have conducted a few test purchases and noted that the automatic emails being sent to customers are headed with my old domain email ([email protected]) and not [email protected]
I can’t find a way to change the emails from the old one to the new one. Is there a way to do this?

fromaddress under WooCommerce > Settings > Emails > Email sender optionsAdditionally, here’s a relevant thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/sender-address-of-woocommerce-e-mails/
If the correct email address is already set yet it is not working as expected then please let us know.
I have just had a closer look. Unfortunately, I can’t copy and paste from my host email account.
Email settings are set to admin@yourdesign etc
An email is being sent from teshirtsandhoodies to confirm the order it has an order number and at the same time an acknowledgement from yourdesignbytonywebb
I’ve typed an example below (I am unable to copy and paste them);

The certificate is valid (hosting company checked)
Google have verified my yourdesign domain.The teeshirtsandhoodies domain is no longer hosted. It has expired.

If I understand you correctly, your emails are correctly being sent by your SMTP server, which is configured with your live site, the issue is that the “from” field is using your old domain address, is that correct?
If so, to help me diagnose that, can you try to access your site using a different browser/device, and make sure that you’re not logged in, and then make a new test purchase, filling up all the fields with some random information (just for testing purposes, like a new user).
If possible, you can share some screenshots of those process with us and also of your:
- Email sender options (WordPress Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Email)
- New order settings (WordPress Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Email > New order >> Manage)
I’d recommend using this tool to take screenshots!

I noticed from my hotmail account that the teeshirts email is sent in addition to the receipt from yourdesign.

Can you confirm your new email address is set correctly in WooCommerce > Settings > Emails > Email sender options > “From” address? (Scroll down the Email notifications page)

By the way, which admin email did you set in Dashboard > Settings > General?
Furthermore, using WP Mail SMTP, you can set the origin email

In the end the problem was that I didn’t update the email header. The address was correct.
