I went ahead with trying placing an order for more items than the available stock, for a product in a test installation of mine, and I was not able to place it, unless I opted to adjust my order for the maximum available items in stock.

Furthermore, I noticed the stock quantity of the product in your screenshot is -10. While testing that scenario (of having a -10 stock quantity for that product’s inventory), I was not even allowed to put it in the cart, on the front end.

While translating in English the information from Dutch, from your screenshot, it appears that there is a related message, pointing to the YITH Point of Sale for WooCommerce: door YITH – 2.9.0 plugin.

Could you go ahead with temporarily deactivating the YITH Point of Sale for WooCommerce: door YITH – 2.9.0 plugin and see if the issue persists, please?

If it persists, kindly try with having all plugins deactivated, except for WooCommerce, while having the Storefront theme active.
