I am having the same issue as mentioned in other threads and again, don’t know how long it has been happening. A customer kindly informed me that he could not enter card details as the fields were un-editable. The page is my checkout page here:

I have reverted to the previous version of the plugin and the version before that but it’s still happening.

    Any assistance much appreciated!

    Cheers

  • I tried your website a few days ago and I couldn’t get it to type the CC.

Now I can type in the credit card fields ok (firefox). I would suggest asking your customer to clear their browser cache/cookies and updating to the latest Chrome or Firefox browser.

    Hi, @msg-meteorites!

I just took a look at your site, and as @webmaster1234 mentioned, the Square fields look to be working fine now:

Can you let us know if you’re still seeing any issues? And are you still on older versions of the Square plugin?

In any case, for reference, from our experience, there are two common causes for the Square form being uneditable:

If you continue running into issues, it’s a good idea to check on those two things first.

Thanks for your replies, yes it is now working on the latest version of the Square plugin. I worked out it was clashing with my SG optimiser plugin which i have now disabled. This is mandatory to run by my host Siteground so i need to contact them to see how to proceed.

    Cheers

    Hi Martin

Thanks for the update. Yes, do reach out to SiteGround. We’ve run into quite a few issues with their SG Optimizer plugin, so they should be able to help you get that configured so that you can use both that and Square.
