Customise different theme for mobile view

  • Hi,
    How do I use a different theme for the mobile view of wordpress?
    I have built a custom desktop view, but it’s not suitable for mobile so I want to just use a mobile view from a different theme, however you cant really customise the mobile theme until you activate it which would obviously override my custom theme for desktop.
    I know there are theme switcher plugins, however this still doesn’t get round the above.
