    In the documentation, there is this text
    “[See Installing the Plugin with Custom Registration Fields for information on how to add/subtract fields from the default installation.]”

    But this piece of documentation is nowhere to be found.

    I take it that’s sarcasm. What a nice introduction to my first use of this plugin ;-). I could reply that if the documentation search function worked properly then it would have been a snap to find it. But hey ho.

    @mpbaweb I think Chad means where was the ‘source’ of the “[See Installing the Plugin with Custom Registration Fields for information on how to add/subtract fields from the default installation.]” so that he can go correct that.

    He’s a plugins creator, not a mind reader. (<– that’s sarcasm ?? )

    And if the search would find the phrase “custom registration fields” then it would be the work of a moment. It took me a while to find that text again too.

    I updated the content right away. The search function does actually work properly, but will no longer find that text because it was removed when I updated it. Here’s the link to revised content:

    Side note – the plugin is almost always leading the documentation, so it takes reports like this to make sure anything that isn’t correct (or is missing, broken, etc) can be fixed right away. Incorrect info in the documentation and plugin bugs are the two things that I do not brush off and always will be pushed to the top of the daily priorities. I was just trying to say that it’s helpful when posting to give specifics (i.e. a link if info is wrong/missing/incorrect/broken/etc) so I can resolve it faster.

    Thanks. I did work it out in the end and it’s excellent that the new field I added appears in the main Users list.
