    Hi,
Logged in users are being shown this message about an updated privacy policy:

“Some of our policies have been updated. Please make sure to select the “View” link next to each item in order to view changes before agreeing.”

    Please can I ask:
    1. when is this shown: all the time to all logged users or only when the plugin has detected the privacy policy page has been updated (if so how long will it show this message for)?

    2. is it possible to turn this warning off? If the answer to above is only if the page has been updated … if we pre-dated the publish date will it turn off?

    3. can we customise the warning text? we would like to make it a bit friendlier .. that’s all.

    Thanks for the great plugin!!

1 – This is shown if you have a registered consent, linked to a policy page and the logged in user is missing that consent on his records. Also, when you update such policy page you will be presented with the option to ignore the update or to ask for re-consent. Asking for re-consent will remove the consent from all users records and that will trigger this notification to appear again to ask for it.

2 – You could not link a consent to a policy. Or on updating a policy you could not ask for re-consent.

3 – Not currently, but I have one update to do on all these front-facing files that will enable you to customize it.
