I am editing the Blocksy theme using the Customiser. For some reason, when I am editing the Header in the Customiser, the navbar remains a trigger/hamburger-even when in desktop tab view. I cannot see all of the nav links in desktop view-it remains a trigger hamburger. This makes it very hard to edit the navbar and header.

The navbar show normally when the website is opened via the server-it is just the Customiser the desktop nav wont show. I have tried deactivating all plugins and clearing history and the cache but this does not help.

Any tips or suggestions would be mostly appreciated.

  • Hello @flamey23

Do you happen to have a screenshot of this?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Unfortunately the site is on a remote server and has no url. But basically the Customiser is open and the desktop tab is selected. But the nav remains a toggle-not the full width navbar.

Apologies for not being able to share a screen clip.

    Hello @flamey23

It would be very hard to figure out what’s going on in this way. Is there really no possibility of sharing a simple screenshot?

I do have a few things to consider, but I’d like to be sure. ??

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Here is a link to a screen clip on Google drive:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ReZrYYGqaoSBuCfJGSVxdxBOQznQ_bdg/view?usp=sharing

It seems the nav will not expand in the customizer even when the desktop tab is selected. This makes nav link styling a bit tricky and I have to collapse the side panel to see changes.

    Hello @flamey

Sorry, but the video is private and requires access. Can you please make it public?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Apologies! Link has now been made public access.

    Hello @flamey23

Ah, I see. The thing here is that your screen resolution is set too low or your zoom levels are set too high, so there isn’t enough space to display the full desktop view in that little preview window.

It would be required to decrease your zoom levels or increase your screen resolution and the issue should be fixed automatically.

    Hope this clears things up!

    Thanks.
