• Hi there.

    I’ve got a WordPress website I’m working on, where the site owner wants to customise page titles on some pages.

    For example, remove ‘Home’ on the home page, replace ‘Blog’ with a different title, and remove the wording “Category Archives: ” in others.

    Is anyone aware of a plugin to do this? I’ve seen mixed examples of PHP to do this in templates but can’t seem to identify the file for the theme this site is built on (Prana Pro).

    Thanks!
    Ryan

    Hi Bigkevracer,

    You can change the page title by an edit that page.

    You have to edit page title and page slug, check this image for reference.

    Thanks Nisha, but doesn’t work on Blog and Category Archives pages.

    I guess what I’m really after is a way to configure these per category or similar.

    If you want to rename Blog name in the front end menu then you can fix this from appearance menu from the dashboard otherwise you have to edit in the code.

    I think I’ll have to edit in the code, but where is the code to do this?

    Just try this;
    Go in Admin panel-> Appearance-> menu and edit the menu which you are using for the ‘top menu’. Check this screencast.

    If it is not working for you let me know.
