Customising ‘the_content()’ Read More tag

  • Is it possible to customise the ‘the_content()’ <!-- more --> tag so that you can direct it to another div id on the target page ?

    By default the ‘Read more’ links to – site.com/page#more

    But i want to link to – site.com/page#mydivid

    Is this possible ?
