Customizations disappeared, unable to recreate

    Hello Everyone,

    Our entire one page express customizations seems to have disappeared. Except for the header & footer, all of the inside content is gone.

    Figured I will update everything and try to recreate. But even that is not working. Here is the steps to reproduce:

    1. Click on Page Content +
    2. In the options that open, select overlapable > about-four-boxes-section. Green tick appears.
    3. But the content does not show up in the customizer for editing. Nothing happens.

    Any advice?

    You can use the revision feature in your WordPress Admin to rollback to a previous version of a desired page.

    ?To do that you need to go to WP Admin -> Pages -> YourPage ->Revisions.

    Thanks @cristianbarbu. Tried different rollbacks, but nothing worked.

    What worked finally is updating One Page Express. The error message on the customizer was a bit more specific. It said “to customize an inside page, upgrade to the pro version.” We were using a different page as home page. Once we switched that to the default Front Page, it worked fine. Looks like the upgrade may have enabled something that was working differently earlier – we could customize any page.

    Hope that helps someone else who might run into this issue.
