• Hi,

Currently I’m not very happy with the appearance of the archives in my website.
I want the posts in them to be displayed in a grid.
I’ve searched for plugins and ways to change the current style, but with no luck so far.
Does anyone know how this can be done?

*what (non-plugin) styling approaches have you tried already?
*are you using blocks editor or classic editor?
*which theme are you using? are you building a custom theme from scratch?
*can you share a link to your website so volunteers on this forum can inspect the code so far for the archive area?

I often use this resource as a guide to create a “grid like layout” https://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/a-guide-to-flexbox/ (not sure if that will work for your configuration.)

You might want to look into theme.json. Theme.json allows you to style elements and block elements within your theme. You can adjust global and block style and elements as well as spacing. The developer however is who determines how the block is laid out. They set up the styles during development. The React plugin for WordPress blocks will generate styles for the back and front end. If you look in the plugin you might find the css to change the layout of the block.
