customize backup file names

    Hi there, using Updraft (both paid and free) for years, on 50+ sites; one of the best plugins in the whole repository. Thanks.

    I back up to google drive, and on occasion, would like to sort all my backup files *by site*. Becuase of the naming convention of putting the date in the ZIP file names first, then the site name, sorting by site name is hard to do.

    Is ther any way to allow us the customize the backup file names?

  • Hi!

    Unfortunately, there is no way to customize the backup file names at this time. However, we do recommend setting different backup directories for each of your sites if you are using the premium version of the plugin.

    So your backup directories can be UpdraftPlus/Site1, UpdraftPlus/Site2 and so on.
