Are you using a plugin to determine the primary category of a post? If so, can you specify which one?

No i Can’t use any plugin. Actually I’m using two category for one post so i want to show only one category in front page.

May we know how are you assigning which one is “primary”?

We’ll need that, else we have no way of programmatically letting WordPress know which one to display as “primary”.

While we can display only 1 on each post, to make sure the primary category is displayed, we need to assign one from the list and target that.

im not using yoast. im using rank math. and i follow tarvis guide but still three category show

how do we determine which of the three Category Terms you want to display?
Is it whichever term comes first?

If the Primary Category is being controlled by Rank Math then you would need to ask them if there is a PHP function that can be used to display that category. We can then look at helping you with adding that function to the theme.
