• Hello,

I was able to customize the unsubscribe / success page, but I wonder how I can customize the confirmation page and reactivation page as well?
Also on the manage your subscribtion page – at the bottom it just says ‘lists’, but no lists are displayed.

    Thanks, Marlene

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there @blueelephantaustria ????!

Thank you for reaching out to MailPoet Support!

Here’s how to confirm the Confirmation Page: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/178-customize-your-confirmation-page

Also on the manage your subscribtion page – at the bottom it just says ‘lists’, but no lists are displayed.

To hide a list from the Manage Subscription page, go to?‘MailPoet > Lists’ and edit the one you want to hide.

    Cheers!

    Hello @danielinhou

thanks for your reply! There are still a few things not clear to me yet.
1)On the ‘unsubscribe page’ it says I need to use the shortcode [mailpoet_page], but then I have my custom text in German and then the text and link in English. Is it not possible to link with a normal link instead, not with a shortcode? And if not, now how can I get the shortcode text personalized in German too: ‘Klicke hier, um dich vom Newsletter abzumelden.
    2) On the manage your subscription page it’s the same thing. Also it’s says, if you need to change your email address you can use the form to change it, but there is no field for the email adresse, only for the first and second name, so what is the matter of this?
    3) I want my customers to be able to subscribe to the newsletter at the checkout. How can I have a link to the privacy page in the checkbox opt-in message – displayed next to the checkbox?

    Thanks, Marlene

    Hello again @blueelephantaustria ,

Thank you for reaching out with your queries. I’m here to help clarify your concerns regarding the customization of unsubscribe and subscription management pages, as well as enhancing the subscribe experience at checkout. Below are the solutions to the issues you have raised:

    1) Localizing the Unsubscribe Page

The use of the shortcode [mailpoet_page] is necessary for the unsubscribe functionality to work correctly within MailPoet. To personalize this text in German or any other language, I recommend using the Loco Translate plugin. This tool allows in-browser editing of WordPress translation files and can help you effectively translate these strings. Here’s how you can do it:

    • Install the Loco Translate plugin from the WordPress plugin repository.
    • Navigate to the plugin in your WordPress admin panel and find the MailPoet translations.
    • Use Loco Translate to alter the shortcode text to “Klicke hier, um dich vom Newsletter abzumelden” or any other custom text.

For more on using Loco Translate, please visit: Loco Translate Plugin.

    2) Managing Your Subscription Page

Currently, MailPoet’s subscription management form does not support changing the email address directly from the form. To update an email address, a subscriber should unsubscribe using the provided form and then sign up again with the new email address. This ensures that the email records are properly updated and also respects user consent and data integrity.

    3) Adding a Privacy Link at Checkout

To include a privacy policy link next to the checkbox at the checkout, you might need to adjust your website’s HTML or modify the checkout page template, depending on how your website or e-commerce platform is set up. Typically, this involves adding an HTML link to the privacy policy within the label or description of the checkbox field. If you’re not familiar with HTML or WordPress templates, you might consider reaching out to a web developer for assistance.

Should you need more detailed assistance with these implementations or have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
