customize coursepress templates

Hello,
– How Can I edit some template file of Coursepress?
I have my child theme of wordpress, and i tried to copy coursepress template folder in my child theme, and i customize the file inside this foldere, but it doesn’t works.
It works only if I copy the single template file in my child theme root, but there are some view issues: It seems to need all the files in the root, otherwise the page is not seen correctly, but I can not copy the file header and footer, otherwise they are confused with those of my theme.

– I’ve set the Listing Image in a course: why I can see this image only in the single course and not in the archive of courses as thumbnail?

How can i solve these problems?
