Hello @koushik001 and thanks for getting in touch. Glad to hear you’re enjoying the plugin and sorry to hear you are having issues with your story thumbnails display.
When editing a post in your WordPress site you can use the Web Stories Grid layout to display a grid list like the one you have linked to on the CNN website. Here you can then edit the block to change a number of layout options such as number of columns, number of stories, display date and more.
To do this with the GutenBerg editor while editing a post:
- Add a new block and search for ‘Web Stories’.
- Select this and then choose either ‘Latest Stories’ or ‘Select Stories’ options.
- Select the Grid layout style.
To do this with the classic editor while editing a post:
- From the classic editor box select the Web Stories option from the toolbar.
- Choose a Grid layout and set the options you wish to have.
- Click insert.
When using this grid layout the thumbnail previews should reduce in size the more columns and stories you have. Currently this is the only way to do this and any further amendments would need to be done via custom CSS.
Let me know if this works for you and if not then I can open a new GitHub issue within the amphtml project to try to add further CSS options to these Web Stories embeds.
