• Hi,

Is there any possibility to use a different profile pictures than the admin’s one when importing/exporting comment from the blog to Facebook?

    1. when exporting comments from the blog to facebook: I understand only FB users can comment on facebook. However, would there be a possibility to use a different FB account with a ‘standard/neutral’ profile picture to export comments instead of using the admin’s account to post comments?

    2. when importing comments from FB to the blog: is there any possibility to display the user’s FB profile picture? (I understand this is done when importing “likes” from FB on the blog so that should be possible for comments as well, right?)

    Thank you!

    1) No – because the user has to have the permissions to post the wall – so its either got to be you or a friend and if its a group wall then that person needs to be member of that group.

    2) Comments imported from FB should take the users FB profile and link back to their FB accounts. As can be seen here : https://wordbooker.tty.org.uk/2012/11/02/more-on-version-2-2-beta/ (Tobias’ info is pulled from FB).

    Thanks,
So back to 1), it should be possible to create an FB account, like my blog’s FB page with this account so that it has the permessions to post on the blog’s FB wall, and then have all the comments imported from the blog posted through this account, right?

If so, is there a simple way to configure that?

You’d need to move all of Wordbookers activity to that account because Wordooker only associates 1 FB account with a blog ID so comments would be processed by the same user who made the post (unless you posted then re-authed as the different user). Also its against FB AUP to have duplicate accounts and if they find out you’re doing it then they may terminate both your accounts.
