Customize List category posts

  • Hello,
    I try hours to customize List category posts… I think it must be easy, but I dont get it. I like to have a line break between the post name and the post date and between the post a dividing line.
    Can someone help me?
    I edit the default.php template in the plugin folder, but nothing have a effect.
