customize newsgem child theme

I’m novice. Using Newsgem child theme. I want to use header image 1060*168, instead using 1060*250 which is recommended in the theme. I want to remove site title. But when i remvove site title, the header image is not appearing fully, it is appearing just less than half.
Which files should i modify.
