When I try to click the customize button on the default template, it looks like it is going to work as it loads the customize window and shows all of the customize options on the left, including Connections, but shortly after I see that the page reloads and Connections is no longer a customize option. Basically, a recent update killed the description on the results page and I am trying to bring it back with no success.

  • Same here! In my opinion, there seems to be a bug in the latest wordpress version. I tried to reinstall AND use their default themes and still unable to access the CUSTOMIZE page. What I see is it attempting to load, but the loading ball just keeps spinning.

It could be a bad plugin or an error in the theme’s javascript. It unfortunately impossible for me to know the cause. If you can open a new support topic in our support forums I can help you further.

Since you did try reinstalling WordPress and using the default theme, I suggest deactivating all plugins and try again. It should work. The you need to activate plugins one at a time until the error happens again. When the error does, the last plugin activated is the culprit.
