Customize page on 2017 is blank ?

  • I have removed and reloaded WP several times – everything seems to go fine with install except when I go to “Customize” in the Twentyseventeen – I get the top bar with “You are customizng ….”
    and nothing below it – such as
    Active Theme
    Colors
    Site identity
    etc
    I’ve searched through the forums
    I am using 4.9.8 fresh download from WP
    I have several other sites I have reinstalled and they work fine
    Help

  • Same with me, Using 4.9.8 version and I can’t go to Customize my theme – it’s showing a message “You need a higher level of permission” But I’m using admin account. I can login on my website and my website works fine.
    Still looking for a solution
