    hey support team

    After updating to the latest version, it is not possible to change the width of the site so that the part of the background is narrower, i mean after change it to 90% nothing happen. And some additional customization options don’t work even after changing.

    thanks

    The fix for me came after rolling back OceanWP theme to 3.6.1 AND Ocean Extra to 2.3.1. The Ocean Extra rollback is what brought the old customizer back. I did this by downloading the old versions and uploading the files via FTP to overwrite the new versions. Don’t forget to disable auto updates afterward if you have those enabled.

    Hello @edenbuganim,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    I have fully examined the issue you raised on this topic and could not see it on my end.

    Could you please provide us with some screenshots, a short video + Live URL, or any documentation of the issue you faced, step by step? A video would be best, as it would help me understand the issue you encountered more clearly.

    You can share the steps to reproduce the issue with us so that we can replicate it on our end. Then, we’ll find a solution.

    You can upload your files to one of the following online services:
    https://postimages.org
    https://loom.com
    https://drive.google.com
    https://dropbox.com
    Or any other service you prefer.

    Additionally, please provide us with your system environment information. To do this, go to WP Dashboard > Tools > Site Health > Info Tab and click on the button “Copy site info to clipboard.” You can send the information as code here or upload it to https://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com/ and provide us with the link: https://i.postimg.cc/fbjtkFyJ/image.png(you can remove your email address from the content).

    Note: To change the width in percentage instead of px you must change the unit here: https://postimg.cc/MXnjzkTR then check it and ensure using 90% not 90px.
    And if you have any cache plugin or server cache(CDN / Browser Cache and Cookies and …), you need to clear its cache contents or disable them to see your changes.

    Please keep us posted.
    Thank you.

    Best regards

    Hello Everyone,
    @edenbuganim,
    @grg26450,
    @rene-michaels,

    Thank you for reaching out,

    I fully tested the RTL version and I saw no issue on my end:
    https://postimg.cc/MfjvZYqr.

    Please share the information I explained above so we can investigate further:

    Hello @grg26450,

    Thank you for sharing the video,

    Could you please share the information we requested earlier?

    Also, for troubleshooting, please do the following steps and let us know the results:

    0. Enable the primary theme(if you are using a child theme).
    1. Head over to WP Dashboard > Plugins.
    2. Deactivate all plugins.
    3. Then, first, activate Ocean Extra plugin.
    4. Check your issue.
    5. Then, activate your plugins one by one
    6. After activation of any plugins, check your issue

    Thank you,
    Best Regards

    I am hoping there is a fix coming for this, soon. I am seeing the same complaint(s) all over the forum.

    I have OceanWP Pro on over 100 websites. I hope I am not expected to roll back themes, deactivate the child theme, and deactivate plugins on all of these sites?

    Why were users not made aware of such a major update? And it is almost as if some issues were hidden by disabling them by default on the updated version.
