Customize product description on archive pages

Hi there!

I’d like to customize the product description currently shown in the Woocommerce category/tag archive pages (List View).

Here are my goals:

1) The audio isn’t currently displaying properly – preferably I would like to fix that but if not at least remove it.

2) Remove images from displaying (not the product image; I’ve already removed that. But some products include images as part of the short description)

3) Limit the number of words and/or characters so that the description excerpt length is equal for all products

I’m assuming the easiest way to accomplish all of these at once would be to simply replace rather than customize the product description display – but I have no idea how to do that.
