Customize RTE Toolbar-

    Hello- Sorry, but I cannot find an answer by searching the forum—
    I would like to simplfy the RTE toolbar by removing some of the options, (eg “Unordered List,” or “Insert/Edit Image”), in the RTE/WYSIWYG toolbar. I’ve looked through every PHP file that seemed relevant, but I could not find the content I’m looking for. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

    The RTE is js, and you can find it’s bunch of files in wp-includes/js/tinymce/

    Thank-you vkaryl, but I am already aware of the wp-includes/js/tinymce directory. To the best of my knowledge, I have looked through all the files there in but have not been able to locate any references to the toolbar elements. Perhaps you, or anyone else out there in this Forum could give me some more specific direction?

    I think if you search for add wysiwyg buttons you might find some posts regarding how to add buttons – which I suppose might send you in the direction of finding what you’re looking for.
