Customize Sharing Content on Facebook Link

I have tried 4 social share plugins and cannot customize the shared content from my blog posts on Facebook. All of them yield exactly the same shared content. When you click on the Facebook share icon, it links to the readers Facebook account and presents the site url, the blog post title and some text that doesn’t relate to the post that I wish to change. I would like it to include some of the text from the post, and it would be nice if I could change the style and layout of the shared message.

This could possibly be done with code, but I have no idea where to find the existing code that creates the share or where to put any code that would overrule that code.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
