    Hello @decomteam,

I noticed you placed templates files in a ./public/templates directory. This sounds good as this is a clue that templates may be customized to integrate seamlessly with custom themes. Most of great plugins offer to override their templates simply copying the template directory provided with plugins into the custom theme directory. Then copied files can be changed to adapt to custom theme designs.

Unfortunately, the DGFW_Public::display_available_gifts uses an include call, instead of wc_get_template. As a result, we remain stuck with fixed design that cannot be changed (except a few custom CSS entries to override the default ones).

Could please consider changing this in future releases?

@maxauray plan was to extend plugin to offer custom templates, but plans are changed/delayed now, we will try to maintain a plugin with 3.x etc… but thats all for 2019, small fixes like you reported earlier will be included in updates but no big things like custom templates, custom positions for gift slider etc… until further notice or change of mind.

You can always fork it at github repository.

I think I will turn to another plugin, instead.

@maxauray from the free plugins I checked this one is by far the best gift plugin, especially for the option to choose a variable product as a gift, if you find something better please reply back.

@decomteam Thank you for the great plugin, another great feature to take into consideration (in case you continue developing this): an option to choose the gift on the “Checkout” page or to show a message which will redirect back to the “Cart” page in order to choose the gift. Something like: “Hey, you got a free gift, click here to choose your gift”.
