• Hello!
I am getting my worpress set up and I would like to be able to have more customized user level permissions. Mainly, I want to be able to have some user allowed to delete and edit posts without giving them admin rights.
Is there a way to modify the user level settings so that I can specify exactly what I want a certain level user to have access to? That would be great!
    Thanks!
PS. I have managed to get another photo gallery option working and I was wondering how/where I should share this for others to use/modify?

User level permissions are coded well into wp, so altering them would not be an easy task.

    thanks for the link podz!
i read the first line and realized that i do not need to modify the user level permissions!
you see, i am very new here and i had posted under an admin, level 10, user and then was trying to see if i could have lower level users delete posts…and of course they could not delete mine because i was above their level…but i made some assumption that only admin level 10 users could delete/edit posts…
i just jumped the gun before i understood the level system! so thanks again, you saved me much time trying to figure out how to do something that i did not even need to do!! ??
