When I avtive the plugin (beta 3.0.0-beta.22 and previous) I can’t use the Customizer-Widget: “There are no widget areas on this page, but others in this theme do”. When I deactivate the plugin I can see the Customizer-Widget.
When I activate Mailpoet Newsletter (2.7.8) it is possible to use the Customizer-Widget.
I’m on Nisarg-theme. The page(s) do have widgets. Any suggestions?

  • Hi there,

Please help us understand what “customizer-widget” is. Are you talking about this plugin or something else? Just using Nisarg and going to Appearance->Customize->Widgets in WordPress works with MailPoet:

    Hello,

    Thanx for the quick reply.
I’m not using a plugin. Just the way you mentioned in Appearance-Customize-Widgets.

I’m sorry but for me it don’t work.
I want to add some (small) pictures of my screens, but I don’t know how to upload them in this thread.

    Re,

Since we can’t replicate the issue, could we please ask you to contact us directly by using the blue feedback icon on any of the plugin pages and we will take a closer look at your site/setup.

Status update: we were able to replicate the issue and are working on a fix. A temporary workaround is to remove the MailPoet subscription widget from your sidebar when you want to configure widgets. No need to disable the plugin.
